Facilities for Children
If you are bringing babies or small children into the prison and require a pram/stroller, we will provide one for your use during your visit. Your own pram/stroller will be placed into the storage area until after the visit. We have high chairs for young children in the Visits Hall.
We have a well equiped play area, both in the Visitors' Centre and within the Visits Hall, and on selected sessions there are qualified playworkers to support play. A new publication "Mark's Book" is available in the Visitors' Centre for children and families to show what it is like in HMP Wolds. You can have a free copy if you ask a member of staff.
To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable visit we ask that parents take responsibility for their children at
all times.
